Focus: Hold the shutter button down halfway. Use both hands to take pictures and hold the camera still. Keep the camera close to your body
Lighting ( Artificial Vs. Natural): Sun should always be over your shoulder. Have good back lighting. Clouds are a good thing.
Rule of Thirds: divide a picture shot into 9 grids ( object should be in one of the middle corners of the grid). Move subject from the center of the picture
Importance of Background: Eliminate unnecessary items in the pictures background. Plain backgrounds are best.
